Strategic Changes
by Jason A. Aguilar
Like never before there is a desperate need for change in our world. For so many years, we have done things a certain way and we have become satisfied with the fruit that we harvest. We became content with occasional moves of God, occasional baptisms, occasional moments of outpouring of the Holy Ghost and periodic experiences with the supernatural realm. When is enough, enough? Well, my friend I say enough is now. In the past three and a half years God has dealt with us here in New York in a very desperate way. He has brought us through heavy hardships and bleak winters for our seasons have been certain but not final. One thing I've learned in the middle of the storm is to be sure that after the snow and the rain comes summer. With these seasons of distress and victory we must realize that this is God's process of formation for the men and women of God who are about to prosper with an apostolic revival. The harvest has come. God has been doing incredible miracles and victories in New York on a daily basis. The supernatural is no longer a dream. It is now a reality happening before our very eyes. God is doing physical miracles, financial miracles, and miracles beyond belief. Even after three months of closing on the first Apostolic Assembly building in the state of New York, it does not seize to amaze me how we were able to do this through the investments and heart felt prayers of saints, pastors, and this local congregation.
This property was a huge victory in the supernatural. Territory is a vital Biblical principle to breaking down supernatural strong holds. We have not only established an Apostolic presence in New York but we have opened a door of faith for the Oneness movement and a new nation of Apostolics to come together and claim what is known as the "Capital of the World". So change is inevitable. Change is necessary in order to reach a place that has been far from God for many, many years. Change is essential in order to reach a multicultural world so that every nation, tribe, and tongue will come together to worship the one true God. This is our mission here at Christian Tabernacle New York. We have journeyed a road less traveled which has forced us to rethink our strategies. If we are going to reach out multi-culturally we are going to have to reach in first and change who we are within. Paul affirmed, "Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized-whoever. I didn't take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ-but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I've become just about every sort of servant there is in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I did all this because of the Message. I didn't just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it!" 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (MSG)
